Rann Safaris had 100% first time success with lion hunts!

The Lion is the icon of wild Africa and a trophy species important to the safari hunting industry. Currently, Lion hunting is not allowed in Botswana.

The African Lion is the biggest of Africa’s cats. To some it is "The King" of the ‘Big 5’. Botswana’s lions have earned a reputation for being big and aggressive.

Tracking lion on foot was perfected in Botswana because of the sandy soil. It is an exciting and successful way to hunt big cats - but it is not for the fainthearted.

Jeff harvested the last lion taken in Botswana with Steven E. Chancellor in September 2000 before the ban was in place, and harvested the first lion taken with Peter

Bollinger once the ban was eventually lifted in April 2005. Jeff is the most experienced professional hunter on lion with more top 10 trophies than any other professional hunter.
