Jeff Rann - Owner /Professional Hunter

Jeff began his professional hunting career in 1977 after completing a 3 year apprenticeship with Zambia Safaris. In 1981 he moved to South Africa, primarily hunting Letaba Ranch for Limpopo Safaris. Two years later Jeff joined Hunters Africa and hunted Tanzania until 1985. It was during this time that he began hunting in Botswana and in 1987 was named Botswana Professional Hunter of the year. Richard de Bufanos

Richard, born (and educated) in South African in 1973, Richard spent most of his childhood on the family owned ranch and developed a passion for hunting at a young age. Licensed in Botswana in 1998, Richard has been with Rann Safaris ever since. Richard has a good knowledge of the natural environment and outside of hunting is a keen fisherman who will give most things a try. Richard greatly enjoys the bird-hunting side of the hunting operation and has a desire to develop the potential of the horseback safaris.

Murray Hibbs

Murray was born in South Africa in 1973.After completing his schooling and National Sevrice in the SADF Murray moved to Botswana.He has been guiding in Botswana for 15 years.He served a 2 year apprenticeship under Jeff Rann.He has been hunting full time in Botswana for the past 9 years.He has hunted the Okovango, Chobe and Kalahari areas extensively.He is a licenced PH in Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa.Murrays interests include bird shooting , fly fishing, photography and collecting books on Africana and Military History.He is unmarried and spends the off season between Rann Sararis and Sarari South concession areas in Botswana, South Africa.

Jared Rann

Jared Rann is the son of Jeff Rann. He has been in Botswana hunting camps since he was 6 months old. Jared was educated in South Africa at Hilton College in Hilton Kwazulu, Natal. Jared is a graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Jared has been guiding clients professionally for 4 years at 777 Ranch, and will finish his apprenticeship for his professional license in Botswana at the end of the Botswana 2008 Season. Then he will be eligible for his full Botswana Professional Hunter's License. Jared Currently splits his year between 777 Ranch and Botswana.

Richard Peake

Richard, a Botswana citizen born in 1987, has been in and around hunting camps his entire life. Richard's Father, Neville Peake, was a PH and the General Manager of Hunting Africa Botswana. Richard's family started Mochaba Taxidermy.  Richard's Mother, Debbie Peake, runs Mochaba and is responsible for exporting most of the trophies from Botswana today.  After completing his schooling in South Africa, Richard started his apprenticeship in Botswana and Mozambique.  Richard was fully licensed in Botswana in 2008. Richard has hunted over 70 trophy elephant as well as many buffalo, leopard and lion during the last 5 Botswana Seasons.
